Retouching

Q: How do I order retouching?

Retouching is a service that Edge Imaging provides to remove basic blemishes or imperfections on the face only. You may indicate that you would like this service by selecting the "add retouching" option on your order form. For high school photos please check off the box provided for retouching requests. Be sure to include $8 in your total and your yearbook photo will also be retouched.

Q: I already received my photo package, but I would like retouching now?

You will have to return your complete photo package back to us and indicate what you would like retouched in the comments section. The cost for basic retouching is $8.00. Although we will reprint your photo package at no cost to you shipping and handling is $10.00.

Q: How does basic retouching work?

Your standard retouching includes a quick clean up to any facial blemishes on your portrait. For additional retouching such as braces removal, glasses glare removal, fixing stray hairs, teeth whitening, removal of small objects, etc. please give us a call at 1-888-416-3343 (EDGE) for a quote.

Class Photo

Q: My class photo was not included in my package?

Class photos are complimentary for every student that participated in class photos. These will be shipped at the same time as the packages but packaged separately. Please allow up to a week for distribution.

Q: How can I purchase an extra class photo?

Please add package "Y" and $6.00 to your order.

Note: Depending on your school's choice, we offer either regular class groups, class composites, or named groups. Regular groups are shipped with packages to the school. Class Composites and Named Groups are shipped separate from photo packages to the school as they are school dependant.

Photo Retakes

Q: What if I am unhappy with the original photo, can I get retakes?

OPTION 1 - I already have the photo package:
Yes, if you require a retake photo, please bring the original photo package to the camera on Photo Retake Day. We will reprint your photo package with the new image and you will receive your new photo package a few weeks after retake day. If your child is in an elementary school, we suggest sending a note to the teacher as well as returning the photo package on retake day.

OPTION 2 - I have proofs:
Yes, if you require a retake photo, please bring your original proofs to the camera on Photo Retake Day. Your will receive a new set of proofs and due date a few weeks after retake day. If your child is in an elementary school, we suggest sending a note to the teacher as well as returning the photo package on retake day.

Q: How do I find out when retake day is at my child's school?

Your school should notify you of the scheduled retake day. You can also send us a message or call us at 1-888-416-3343 (EDGE). Please note that there will not be a retake of class photos on retake day.
