- Bring a white collared dress shirt.
- Bring a white tank top for the "bare neck" look.
- For casual photos, avoid stripes, plaid and patterns. Solid colours photograph better.

- Wear solid colours because they make you stand out
- Avoid stripes, plaids, clothing with words, etc. because they take away from your face
- Bring something dressy and something more like everyday school
- Bring a piece of black clothing - it shows up well on black and white and sepia glamour shots

| Hair |
- If you plan on changing your hair style make sure you do it at least a week before your photo session
- Practice styling your hair a few days before hand so it is perfect on the day of your photo shoot
- Natural hair always works best

- Hair cuts need be at least a week before the photo date
- Bleach or dyed hair can date your portraits and general do not show up well.

- Make sure your nail polish is not chipped and your nails are well kept.

- Wear a little more make up than normal.
- We can retouch your blemishes so if you have a minor breakout - don't panic

- Have a clean shave first thing in the morning to avoid the stubble (which is difficult to retouch)

| Jewellery |
- Avoid large and overly shiny jewellery which will take the attention away from you
|
| Glasses |
- If glasses glare is a challenge, remove the lens before you get here, or ask an optometrist to loan you an empty pair of frames. We also try our best to remove glare with our lighting.

| Props |
- Bring props for your casual shots. Props are items that help express who you are. Some things you can bring are : sports equipment (basketballs, footballs, jerseys, soccerballs, hockey sticks, golf clubs, etc), instruments (guitars, drums, etc.), school jackets, etc.

Q: How do I sign up for my grad photos?
When you sign up, we've created an appointment notice with tips on how to look your best on photo day. Some schools have sign up sheets in the office, others are able to book grad appointments online with a school code. Please bring your sit fee to the appointment.
Q: What is included in my sitting fee?
The fee paid at the camera covers the cost of your photo session, your photographer, your gown and flower props, and your proofs. Depending on your school, the sitting fee may also include an 11x14 graduation class composite with Vinyl folder with the embossed name of your school. If you are receiving a composite, it will be delivered to the school before the end of your school year.
Q: How do I add retouching?
All graduation photo orders include complimentary standard retouching. Basic retouching includes a quick clean up to any facial blemishes on your portrait. For additional retouching such as braces removal, glasses glare removal, fixing stray hairs, teeth whitening, removal of small objects, etc. please give us a call at 1-888-416-3343 (EDGE) for a quote.
Q: Are the taxes included in the price?
Taxes are extra and should be added to the subtotal.
Q: Can I order just one picture?
Please refer to the "sold separately" section on your paper order form.
Q: How do I book an appointment for retakes?
If a retake is scheduled at your school, you will have to book your appointment at your school as our
customer care does not have a schedule.
If your school does not have a grad retake day or you have missed grad retake day, Edge offers
studio retake days on Saturdays from February to May. Please call us at 1-888-416-3343 (EDGE)
to book your appointment. Please note that we are unable to control the fact that your photo may not
appear on the composite or yearbook.
